About Mitts and Friends | Our Story & Characters

Hi Friends!

Mitts and Friends began in 2007–2008, long before AI, as a fun and heartfelt idea to create characters and stories that could bring back the wholesome, feel-good spirit of Saturday morning cartoons.

Mitts and Friends was created to spark imagination, fill kids’ days with adventure, and remind us all what it feels like to be a kid — a time of curiosity, friendship, and endless possibilities.

Our stories are designed to be safe for kids and comfortable for parents, with positive messages and fun, age-appropriate adventures that the whole family can enjoy together.

At the heart of Mitts and Friends are a few simple but important values: teamwork, courage, kindness, imagination, and acceptance. These values guide our stories and characters, and we hope they help make the world a little brighter, kinder, and more colorful.

Thanks for being part of this adventure!

Mitts is a soft, playful yellow character who acts as the group’s natural leader. He’s curious, brave, and always ready to help his friends solve problems or go on exciting adventures.

Chloe is a confident and outgoing pink character with long eyelashes and stylish flair. She often plays the role of backup leader and speaks her mind, but always in a kind and encouraging way.

Jax is the white character who wears a black ninja headband. He’s full of energy, always practicing his karate moves, and brings laughter to the group with his goofy antics.

Benji is the green character who’s more laid-back and thoughtful. He wasn’t sure about the group at first but quickly became part of the team. Benji is the one who often brings calm to the group and pairs well with Chloe during adventures.

Amethyst is the goth-inspired member of Mitts and Friends. She may seem cool and distant at first, but underneath her mysterious style she has a caring side and quietly enjoys being part of the group.

Azure is the blue character who is cool, kind, and collected. He is a steady presence in the group and often helps the others think things through before acting.

Razz is the red character and the playful instigator of the group. He loves a good challenge and encourages everyone to step outside their comfort zone — but never in a mean way.

The Mayor of Mittsville is a cheerful blue character known for his lively spirit and big personality. Dressed in a sharp suit with a Mayor sash and tassels on his back, he stands out wherever he goes. Loud, friendly, and full of pride for his town, he loves celebrating others always ready with awards, ribbons, and certificates for anyone who does a good deed. His upbeat energy and booming voice make him the heart of every Mittsville event.

A mischievous squirrel that only Mitts and Friends can hear talk. He also carries around a glowing acorn that lights up when he’s happy or finds clues. Playful, clever, and full of energy, Nutters keeps the group curious and never afraid to explore.

Olive is a gentle, nature-loving character with a soft green color that reflects her calm spirit. She has a magic touch for flowers and plants, bringing them to life with ease. Sweet, calm, and nurturing, Olive often helps brighten Mittsville with her gift for growing things, adding color, beauty, and warmth wherever she goes.
